This is an exquisite batch of Taif Rose Otto that I have left over from a project last year, and I figured I'd let the remainder of it go to you all.
Really lovely batch hailing from the mountains of Saudi Arabia, renowned for it's beauty and it's Rose Water. Each individual rose is handpicked, usually within a 2-hour window early each morning, and has to be distilled that day within a few days of harvest. It's incredibly laborious work.
The oil itself is intense, yet soft and dewy. Notes of gentle citrus float atop hints of Assam tea and Sidr Honey for a sensual, layered richness that is THE rose delicacy of the world.
Taif Rose has the special ability to elevate whatever it is added to. A little goes a long way, making it a very affordable splurge, so to speak, despite it's high price for a Rose. Works magic on other florals, woods, and especially Oud.
Each gram of oil takes roughly 3,500 roses to produce.
Considering a dozen roses from the florist easily costs @$25 - and that 3,500 roses makes roughly 292 dozens of roses ... 1g of this oil is equivalent to roughly $7,300 worth of bouquets of a dozen roses from the florist ... and this oil wont go on ya in a week like fresh flowers would ! It's the best possible way to spend money on roses !!
