For those that don't know The Perfume Chronicles (https://www.theperfumechronicles.com)

Alexandre Helwani is a well-known perfume writer, covering Reviews, Overviews, and Interviews in the fragrance industry. He also happens to be my buddy.

Alex spent a week here in 2019 over Thanksgiving. We had a great time with my family, shooting some video reviews of my products, and heating lots of Agarwood. It was in the midst of this I had a crazy idea ... and I asked Alex if he'd be interested in doing a COLLABORATION PROJECT - given that he dabbles in making fragrances, and the work he had brought with him I had loved. I told him I wanted to make some 100% natural collab Attars ... and that's what brings us here.

I'll let Alex describe his creation in his own words :

Andralia Attar

Sullen and solemn yet lush and bright.

The mercurial brother of Ambrosia (my other Colab creation), Andralia Attar is a leathery chypre, a tribute to an original formula for Holy Chrism from the 14th century, to its sense of silence and meditation through an insanely diverse list of materials.

The main accord of Leather and Violet is strengthened by a lush heart of Tuberose and Osmanthus absolutes, fluttering under a crisply rose Geranium and Chamomile dew. The mossy background of Moss, Beeswax and Oud brings an animalic texture to an overall floral-green composition.

Diverse, complex and manifold, Andralia is the fragrant expression of stepping into a Greek monastery after the Divine Liturgy, of smelling its walls seeping with salt and fern, its waxen floors and the flickering lights of candles.

A tribute to our inner garden.

Notes; Geranium, Violet, Bergamot, Blue Chamomile, Rose, Osmanthus, Tuberose absolute, Ylang-Ylang, Laotian Oud, Beeswax, Ambrette Co2, Moss, Cypress absolute, Labdanum, Ambergris

All built on the back of a Mysore Sandalwood oil that JK distilled just for this Collaboration Project.

Enjoy!
