Opens with a slightly smokey, yogurt'y sourness that reminds me a bit of memories from back when I was in Boy Scouts. I can't recall what exactly we were cooking that this scent reminds me of ... but it brings back memories of humid South Eastern forests, wisps of campfire, cream of wheat or those milky pudding cups that we used to bring with us when we needed something sweet in the night hours out sitting around the fire. It's not a sweet opening note, mind you - but it kinda makes my eyes want to roll back in my head with childhood memories of campfire cooking and snacks late at night as we told stories around the fire.

The distant smokiness starts to abate after a few minutes and begins to give way to a tart fruitiness - almost like a raspberry note and hints of currants, without smelling purple or jammy.

From here I get hours and hours of resin and alpine woodiness, like the tang from Juniper and Agarwood found in some masala incense from the region.

Strangely, in my mind if I combine all the phases and transitions I smell - it's almost like I'm smelling a bit of Tibetan Incense that's been dissected and stretched out over several hours. A little smokey on the front end, milkiness from malted cereal grains, hints of tart mountain berries, and woody resinous notes from Himalayan Juniper and High Altitude Agarwood that finishes off off with a sweet Oud resin note that’s easy peasy to love.

It's not baryardy or farm'y, nor is it leathery or hay-like, like many Hindi's that we are more accustomed to. It's ... a tart, red Oud.

It's a pleasant, easy to wear oil with milky wispy smoke, a unique alpine raspberry note and hints of currants, layered over distant forests and prayers whispered in seclusion.
