For those that have been following my work, I've been putting together kits for private orders on Agarwood samplers. I've put dozens of them together at this point - so I wanted to offer an option here in the shop to make it a bit easier.

Omakase (Japanese: お任せ, Hepburn: o-makase) is a Japanese phrase, used when ordering sushi in restaurants, that means "I'll leave it up to you" (from Japanese "to entrust" (任せる, makaseru)).

I've collected hundreds of flavors from just as many locations from all over the Agarwood producing regions of SE Asia.

To make it easy, I've set up several tiers by price point. The higher the tier, the more woods you get to sample. Higher value tiers also will include more rare and higher ticket selected woods.

Generally speaking, this is “Dealer’s Choice” or “Omikase” style - meaning I’ll pick out woods to Suite the tier choice.

You're welcome to make requests in the NOTES when you place your order. I'll do my best to accommodate any requests, although it may not always be possible, especially when requesting top shelf woods on lower priced tiers.

This is a great option for someone new to Agarwoods that is wanting a great way to get your nose acclimated to the various scents and regional profiles.

**The kits are put together by VALUE. There's no real way to say how much quantity you'll receive, as each kit is put together by order - and as the various woods have various values ... it's impossible to comment on the exact quantity you'll receive, as it is calculated at the time it is put together.

**Remember - the bigger your budget - the more samples and more higher grade woods that will go into your sampler.

Again - if you have any special requests, please include that in the NOTES when placing your order. I'll do my best to accommodate when and where possible.

Kits will most likely be comprised of a combination of lab glass vials and resealable plastic bags, depending on the size of the pieces.

UPDATE :

Historically, this Omakase has been for Agarwoods. However, I have had so many requests that I'm opening this to a selection of anything, but you MUST mention it in the NOTES *when you place your order.

EVEN BETTER if you can have an Omakase for each type of material - Agarwoods/Pure Oud Oils/Attars/Etc.

-->So in other words, you could order 2 or more Omakase, and mention in the NOTES when placing the order which Omakase you would like it for.
