This is a rare gem. Vintage Mysore Sandalwood Oil is already exceedingly rare - but to have a bottle of Vintage Mysore that came to me by way of the family of the guy who taught the Ajmal family perfumery? That's one-of-a-kind !

This is another vaulted gem that came to me through unique provenance - as part of a collection of materials left behind to the children and grandchildren of the man who helped hatch a billion dollar Gulf fragrance company. So although it may not be from a Sheikh ... it comes from the collection of a different kind of King.

I've had several old collectors from the Gulf and Subcontinent put their noses on this, and they all give me a thumbs up for that old, authentic Mysore scent that was rare even in their heydays. I've only had a handful of oils like this run through my hands, and they've always been small bottles of very old vintage Mysores. I'll attest that the similarity is striking.

The family didn't know the exact date of distillation, just that it was Pre-2000, and most likely from the early 80's. But for argument's sake, I'll leave it at Pre-2000.

I'm releasing a small batch of boxed bottles, numbered and bottled individually. This is extremely limited and not something that there are endless quantities of. If you'd like a bottle - I recommend grabbing one. No telling when something like this pops up again !
