Another FIRST from Rising Phoenix...
We are all familiar with the fame and glory of Mysore Sandalwood. Few, however, have ever even heard of Maharashtra Sandalwood.
Maharashtra, a state spanning west-central India, is best known for its fast-paced capital, Mumbai (formerly Bombay). This sprawling metropolis is the seat of the Bollywood film industry. It also has sites like the British Raj-era Gateway of India monument and cave temples at Elephanta Island. To the south is the rustic, beach-lined Konkan Coast. In the city of Pune, Aga Khan Palace is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi (of whom's funeral pyre was made from 4 TONS of Sandalwood...from Australia).
This brand new Sandalwood experience comes from the jungles of the far South of Maharashtra, inland a bit and nearing the Karnataka region. It's obviously Indian. Smells somewhat similar, yet quite distinct from Mysore Sandalwood. And everyone who has tried it has told me they've never smelled a Sandalwood oil quite like it.
This is the first batch, of which I've undertaken 6 batches now - the first 3 of which are already finished and curing.
This is a rare opportunity to smell something that people from our Age have likely not seen in well over a century. Take advantage of it while it's available!
