This is an incense with a story ...
Many folks remember the old blue box Nag Champa incense from many years ago, yes? The lament is always that the formulation changed - and it's never been the same since.
Well - what happened is the father passed away and the son inherited the company and wanted to save money - and so the formula changed.
It just so happens, I've known the manufacturer of those original Blue Box Nag Champa for a number of years. Which brings us to this project ...
I actually made this batch of incense with the original manufacturer back in ... 2014 or 2015.
We developed this to be unique and specifically for Rising Phoenix - and so although it is not the old blue box Nag Champa - it does remind one of a more floral Nagi, complete with real Sandalwood and real Halmaddi.
As it quite different from what I usually offer, being more of an Indian Masala - please note that also contains a small portion of Synthetics - I didn't think people would like it or want it.
Things have changed over the past few years and palettes are a little more open. I've sent samples out to customers and everyone has loved it. They've also had a chance to mellow as I've stored these for the past several years. And so ... I feel comfortable enough now releasing this. Yay
Made in the finest masala tradition of India, natural herbs and resins are combined with floral extracts to create a natural blend, which is skillfully hand rolled onto a bamboo stick. Expect a room-filling burst of exotic Indian florals and resins, layered over a creamy Sandalwood.
"Khushboo" is a reference to the floral quality of these sticks.
Ingredients :
Sandalwood
Natural Gums and Resins
Halmaddi
Honey
Natural Ruhs (and 3% of Synthetic oils)
Bamboo Core
I'm offering these in 2 options :
1. A Bundle - 12 sticks, roughly 15g
2. A Box - 12 Bundles of 12 Sticks (144 Sticks), roughly 180g
