**Floral - Powdery - Butter**
This is one heck of a nice Sandalwood Oil. I know I'm patting myself on the back here, but I gotta say it ... hot damn!
After the success of Java Dwipa Imperial - I wanted to make another oil from the same specific region, but change the parameters to hit a different price point and odor profile. In this case - in a stainless setup over gas. I wanted to tease out more of the floral and powdery notes, and we hit the nail on the head.
This is old stock wood, harvested many many years ago, from a particular parcel of land that was once the collecting ground for the Royal Family of Java, out of which they would build their Royal homes and palaces. The wood is known for being particularly floral - and I wanted to capture that exceptional floral note.
Whereas Java Dwipa Imperial is a luscious, rich, Gourmand Floral - Dwipa Gold is lusciously Floral and beautifully Powdery, encased in a shining butteriness that hits a spot you didn't know you had. It's delectable!
