Little pet project here with a former Med school classmate of mine that has gone on to be a licensed collector.

Through him I am getting some very OLD roots, through which the Black Ginseng is then produced. See listing photos for some of the process.

Many have heard of White or Red Ginseng. Few have heard of Black Ginseng, which requires a lengthy process of steaming the roots 9x over 48 hours.

American Ginseng is different than Chinese or East Asian Ginseng, and more strongly Nourishes the Yin of the Lungs.

Black Ginseng is an excellent Adaptogen.

Dose : 1/4 Tsp 1-2x/day in warm water or directly in the mouth and washed down.

Can also make a “tea” by pouring boiling water over 1/4 tsp and allowing to set until cool enough to begin drinking. Taken this way, it pairs nicely lightly sweetened with honey.

Can also be added to Smoothies or Juice.
