As many of you know, I’m a licensed practitioner of Chinese Medicine, and I’m in private practice in the metro Atlanta area. As such, I have a lot of interesting herbs and materials at my disposal, and access to a lot of things we might not see outside of a specialized pharmacy.
I’ve had a lot of requests to offer more of these oddities, and this is the first I’m starting with. It’s been outta stock for awhile, and like everything post-pandemic, the availability of many things has been disrupted and the prices have gone up in many cases, manifold. But finally - I was able to get this back in stock!
What we have here is a pharmaceutical grade extract of AgarWOOD - not the leaves - but the wood, itself.
The particular pharmaceutical company I source these from is located in Taiwan, and I’m am able to source these on my medical license.
NOTE :
The pharmaceutical company does not specify the origin or sub-species of the woods used. What they DO guarantee is authentication of the species of the herb and that it meets or exceeds their minimum pharmaceutical potency standards. This is a very reliable company, and one I have been using for well over a decade at this point. Please do not ask for more details beyond what I provide here, as I neither have them, nor does the company provide them apart from their very reliable guarantees. What is guaranteed is correct species and pharmacological potency standards.
DOSE & USAGE :
Dose is 0.5-1g
To use : Add to warm water and stir.
This product has a very pleasant taste, and for those who know what to look for, the Xiang Qi / potency is very evident.
*This product pairs very nicely with either of our BLACK GINSENG Powders, and can be used up to 1:1 in equal quantities together.
